I thought the EXACT same thing as I was walking out of the theater.
I told a friend that Sing Street was like Once but with likable and attractive characters and much better music.

I loved it, too, but it's no Once.
Once has very likable and attractive characters, and wonderful music, btw.
Try seeing it again, you know, after that stick is surgically removed from your ass.
