Did the actor do all his own Singing?

The actor playing Conor's voice was pretty shaky and off when rehearsing, but he sounded really good when performing. Did he actually sing all the songs?

Unrelated observation: in the songs at the school dance, he looked and sounded a lot like Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong.

Unrelated observation 2: the actor playing older brother Brendan looked like Seth Rogen in the movie.

Great movie.

edit: I went back and watched the credits, I guess the actor did sing all the songs. Kudos to him.

If you go to Youtube there are a host of videos featuring the actors who played Conor and Eamon singing some of the songs live.

I wish there was a director commentary with the home video release. Hopefully some day, the movie's a gem.

Yeah, a bit of a cross between Rogen and Chris Pratt.

Yes - he did all the singing. Ferdia Walsh-Peelo was actually an accomplished boy soprano and was chosen for his singing ability rather than acting - in fact he had done little or no acting before. The shaky bits at the start were just acting.

Superb film.
