Does that mean it's been renewed for a second season or do they live on in our imaginations? This show and its off-kilter humor have really grown on me and I'm sad to see it end.

shareThe season finale was a bit underwhelming for me. There are some definitely funny moments in this show and funny characters. For a 10 episode run there may have been too many meh episodes. I hope it gets renewed because the potential is there, but I am not sure if others agree.
shareUnderwhelming is the perfect word to describe how I felt. There were some genuine belly laughs this season and I was hoping for a slam dunk episode, but it wasn't. The classroom scene went on too long and I am a big Billie fan and even still I wanted them to get on with it.
I did love Gene's my friends call me Gene joke and it not working on the court appointed case worker. Also, I love when she called the vet New Chet and, I guess I should call you Cheteran. And her whole rant about how she's done her time and totally missing the point the veteran was making.
I still think the best line in the whole show was the line about Chet eating gummy worms for the first time and saying they almost taste as good as the real thing. That was in The Funeral
The Funeral was the best episode, funny the whole way through. That was rare with this season. Hoes Before Bros was pretty funny as well
