My Method Acting Teacher Said He Thought This Show Was A Parody...
So I looked at a clip of it on YouTube and it turned out he was right.
Some of the most artificial, cringe-worthy acting I have ever seen.

I don't think this show is going to last. I've watched 2 episodes and it seems very boring and the acting isn't that great.
shareIt's a mini-series not a full fledged series. So of course it won't last.
shareI hope so, this is bad honey.
shareA parody of what?
It ain't the Ganges, but you go with what you got." ~ Ken Talley, "The Fifth of July"
Yeah? A parody of what??
And again, it's a mini-series. Its not going to last. Just like the "Kennedy's" it was an 8 episode mini-series.
However, I did hear they are making a part two of "The Kennedy's" another 8 episodes of the other family members, and Bobby's assassination and life of Jackie after John.
Thank you. I want to tell that "method acting teacher" that the word parody doesn't mean what he/she thinks it means.

So what major network tv series has your method acting teacher appeared on?
shareThank you so much....I was waiting for someone to call out the egocentric acting coach.
It takes giant stones to criticize a professional actor's work when you yourself are a never-was....
It's like fat guys on a couch criticizing professional athletes...My response is, "if you are good enough to be talking *beep* than why is he playing in Yankee stadium and you are sitting on your ass, stuffing your face with donuts?"
But the fat guys on the couch are just talking to themselves, it's the P.E. teacher who was nothing and tells kids not to try hard that's the problem.
Now ask me how I really feel, I'm just here for the comments.
Unless the fat guy on the couch is your dad and you have to listen to him whine and yell at a bunch of players who can't hear a word he's saying. Then he's still the problem. LOLZ.
shareOr - maybe more to the point - it's like the high school football coach who tells the kids on his team that the pros are doing it wrong.
shareHa! You're welcome! I feel the exact same way as you do...I can be critical of actors who aren't very convincing, but to spread an opinion as condescending as 'the entire show is a parody'..? oh please. At least the rest of us aren't asserting ourselves as some kind of field expert. We're just sitting at home with the full acknowledgement that we don't belong in the industry.
