I gotta admit that as a guy I liked this show. Being born in the early '60s I liked it mostly for its depiction of space history - (albeit with some liberties taken) - but also for viewing a few pretty and strong ladies. However, I have to be honest and share that I especially enjoyed listening to Yvonne Strahovski, as Rene Carpenter.

Something about her voice in this show .... pure bliss, her voice.

She had a weird accent going on.

Well, she's Australian doing a southern American accent, so... But it was the treble in her voice that also made it...

She also sounds pretty darn close to the real Rene Carpenter.
