Satisfied my expectations

From the reviews and comments, profanity and nudity advisories, I knew this was going to be a movie I would either hate for being so stupid or love for its hilarious r-rated man-at-his-basest humor. I'm glad to report that the latter is the case.

I loved this movie. The first was very, and I almost gave up on it. Then all of a sudden I was in stitches. I laughed until I cried and more. The last scene with the drug dealer was precious, if I can express drug dealer and precious together. I'm definitely going to watch this again now and every year.

Exceeded my expectations from the very opening to the very end.
I went in with zero expectations, and was completely blown away.

I can't say that I particularly enjoy the movie, but it was pretty much what I expected when I hit play.

Adequate to good performance from JGL, terrible acting from Seth Rogan, and an adequate performance from Anthony Mackie. When I saw Michael Shannon (great character actor) was in the film I figured he'd have a decent performance as well.

I didn't expect much in terms of coherent storytelling, and that's what was presented.

I have to say, I'm really scraping the bottom of the On Demand barrel these days.

I'm glad I watched this movie before reading the negative reviews. Otherwise I would have missed out on a funny movie. Was it a great movie? No, it wasn't. Was the acting Oscar worthy? Definitely not. Did this movie have me LOL for real? Oh yeah! Perhaps it was just nice to have a little Christmas in July (we're experiencing record breaking heat where I live). Maybe it was some of the subtle lines like (Father figure . . . put your hand in mine). Or maybe, just maybe it was simply an entertaining film with a fun, new take on A Christmas Carol. Whatever the reason, I thoroughly enjoyed this movie so go ahead, throw caution to the wind and give this movie a chance!
