I wasn't planning on seeing this in theaters, but I thought it could possibly be fun for a rental. Given the release date and cheap-looking trailer, I never really expected this to be good, but is it really this year's Transporter Refueled?

As long as Statham is in it, it will be better that Transporter Refueled.

This is a fine Statham actioner.

Forget thw Transporter series and movies. It's over now. Judge The Mechanic as its own movie. It's ok and fairly violent flick.

Yes, it's one of the worst movies I've seen this year and I enjoyed the first one.

It's exactly what you would expect from a Jason statham film. You've made the right choice by not seeing it at the cinema.

I hated the first Mechanic, love mindless action movies and miss the days of Sly Stallone's total garbage DTV movies. Will I love this?

It's very very bad.

It bored me to death and was on the verge of leaving the theatre but I remembered that I actually paid money to watch this POS.
