Come on its just another Jason Statham action movie
What did yall expect?
Jason Statham's action films are like the Friday the 13th franchise (cheesy, mindless and entertaining) thats it.

How is it that Stathan's character can track down the all of the people he's being forced to assassinate, come up with up exotic plans to make the deaths sorta like accidents (all the while killing and evading dozens of the bad guys' bodyguards), but he can't track down and kill the guy who's making him do it in the first place?
shareThe original Mechanic (Bronson) set the stage better. We see his training regiment. How cold and calculated he is with this hits. Sure, a couple of hits went haywire, but there was a build up to them. None of this has been present in this series.
I personally would like to have a Mechanic sequel where all of the kills are silent and undetectable. The chaotic gunplay and kicking everyone's ass doesn't fit in with what I envision a perfect hitman film would be. It screams of laziness.

Yeah...but i still loved Joker, Mocingbird, Homefront or Safe more ;)
shareAnd what's wrong with that?
Statham movies are part of a sadly dying genre where you could go to a movie theater, turn your brain off for 90 minutes and enjoy. Guys like Schwarzenegger Van-Damme, and Stallone killed it (no pun intended) with this genre and unfortunately it's disappearing
