Weakest story ever
At least for an a-lister, yes.
I almost choked on my popcorn due to the line
Adams stocks his U boats with intercontinental ballistic missiles.
No, he does not. Even if he's Tommy Lee Jones for haven's sake. Or does he have a secret moon base, too?
I watched this flick because I liked the first Mechanic which was rather original for a hitman movie. "Resurrection" has some nice action scenes and a surprisingly good cast which really tries to make something out of the plot, but that plot is thinner than a sheet of paper. Felt like a video game at times. The only thing is, in video games you may forget plot holes over a sense of immersion.
The scenario wasn't really thought-out. Especially the pool job in broad daylight with thousands of potential witnesses around was mind-blowingly stupid. I mean, it looked cool. But it couldn't have looked like an accident.
