Identifying Dwayne and Auli'i in the commercials & trailers
The first teaser trailer listed "Dwayne Johnson is Maui" and "Auli'i Cravalho as Moana". (Notice the difference? Go check out the teaser trailer on YouTube.)
Now, many of the commercials include Dwayne and Auli'i prominently by name--written or narrated. I don't remember them doing this for any previous animated film, except maybe Robin Williams in "Aladdin." They definitely didn't use any of the voice casts' names for "Wreck-It Ralph," "Frozen," "Big Hero 6," or "Zootopia" despite all the known TV, film, and Broadway stars in each film.
Are they doing this because Dwayne Johnson is such a big name in Hollywood that they're using his name to draw people to the movie, and using only his name is unfair to Auli'i as the female lead?
