Is the "Introducing" credit really necessary for a voice-over role?

So I noticed in the theatrical trailer they use the "Introducing" credit for the girl who voices Moana. First of all, I've never cared much for the introducing credit for young actors and second of all, is it really needed for an unknown actress doing a voice role? What are the odds that she even moves on to something else after this?

I totally see your point, but it's kind of a throwback thing.

She was excellent in this movie. She will go on to do more movies/music for sure!

The same odds that she goes on in other roles as if she acted live action. Probably better odds though because Disney has a habit of bringing back past actors in new roles. Disney also usually will use the same actor for future roles of the same character. So if Moana has a short or TV show or sequel or video game then the same actors will go on voicing the same characters.
