I don't have a chance to listen yet, but I see it opening around the same as FD because of all the hype surrounding it, plus everyone has heard a sample of the music (sounds amazing) and seen the preview with animation that seems flat out gorgeous. So I'm gonna go for a ballsy estimate and say it will open around $155 mil WW.

I'm sorry but that is very much in the realm of the improbable, near impossible really. Dory's opening was even unprecedented for an animated movie but it at least made sense, it was a sequel to a universally adored film and it had the advantage of a wide audience. Those who grew up with the first and little kids around today. Moana will likely not even touch $100million over thanksgiving, let alone in the three day weekend. I expect it will do very well, in fact i expect it could make $250-$300 million and even more if its something special. You're looking at an opening close to Zootopia really.

i agree
