$100 Million oppening weekend?

It's definitely a possibility, since Frozen hit 93 million and it's currently outpacing Frozen.

I don't think it will happen. Deadline says it will end up anywhere between $85-90 million for the five day weekend, and I think that's the case. I'm not even sure if it will open above Frozen.
Still a very strong opening.

Although Moana's Wednesday beat Frozen's Wednesday, Moana's actual Wednesday was smaller than Frozen's actual Wednesday. 2.6 million dollars came from Tuesday night, while Frozen made only 1.2 million on its Tuesday night. This leads me to believe that Moana will end up slightly lower than Frozen, as it is showing a tad bit more frontloading. However, even an 85-90 million debut is very reasonable at this point, and very good.

Thursday's gross was $9.9 million while Frozen's Thursday was over $11 million. It's a good indicator that it's losing a little steam and is very unlikely to top Frozen's $93.7 million let alone hit $ 100 million.

I think it might be possible. I checked my local theater and most of the showings are packed.
