With 'Tangled' (2010), we had 'Tangled Ever After' (2012)... and with 'Frozen' (2013), there was 'Frozen Fever' (2015). Could we expect a sort of "Moana After All"-ish short film in a year and a half???

Plus, does anyone think that, as far as merchandise goes, 'Moana' can sell on its own? What I mean by that is, 'Moana' has been mentioned among many "Disney Princess" merchandises... so, could her face be added to the line up on children's school bags, or blankets etc.? Or, like 'Frozen', could it sell on its own?

I mean, many people say that Anna and Elsa are in the princess line-up... but when you head to your local Disney store to buy your daughter, or niece etc. a school-bag... you have a "Disney Princess" bag, featuring faces of; Aurora, Belle and Rapunzel... then next to that, you have a "Disney Frozen" bag with Anna, Elsa and Olaf on there...

Does 'Moana' need to be on the long-lasting franchise, or can it hold its own candle like 'Frozen' has these past few years...?

Good question. Frozen never has cooled off enough to warrant a Disney Princess addition.
Only the next few months will tell us how popular Moana is. Let's hope for a Billion? At least 750-800 Million?
My guess is Moana will join the Princess line up in about a year or so.

I work at Toys R Us and we've been selling Moana products since the summer. She definitely sells. I just wish they had a little stuffed Pua
