shareAre you suggesting that this movie and Frozen are a part of a Disney Animated Universe?
shareArgh the 3 words I dread. Disney Animated Universe. It doesn't exist. All appearances of past and future characters are called easter eggs. Argh.
shareWell, with how successful the Marvel Universe (also owned by Disney) is, along with the DCEU, a possible King Kong/Godzilla universe, I wouldn't be surprised if Disney confirmed an animated universe...
Despite Chris Buck debunking the Tarzan/Frozen connection...
My problem with a Disney Universe is that it requires retroactively applying it with the large assumption that it has been a plan for decades before confirming. The Frozen ones link with The Little Mermaid is classic point. A boat can just be a boat. Rapunzel's appearance is just a fun cameo like Belle's appearance in Hunchback. Nothing more. I am a huge Disney fan and I cannot think of nothing worse than a combined universe. If anything let that happen on Sofia the First. I am sure there will be some random cameo that will get the crazies all a tizzy with making up another linked universe with this movie, because those people don't understand the history of Disney productions putting in little Easter eggs to amuse fans.
shareI agree, but that doesn't keep me from making a D&D campaign based on the idea.
shareI'm extremely confused how they are related. Frozen is in the Scandinavian Peninsula and has very little to do with the sea, except that that happens to be their means of travel. Moana is set in Polynesia, and has everything to do with the sea. They are literally over 6000 miles away from each other...
shareYes and then Simba comes in 3D as tell everybody that Tarzan is sick and Cinderella is taking care of him meanwhile Nemo is going for find the Up's old man
shareYes... this is clearly a "Frozen" prequel.
Obviously.
It can't be anything else.
A prequel indeed it must be! -Yoda
(In case you couldn't tell, I was being sarcastic.)

I'd be okay with a Moana cameo in Frozen 2.
