The only disappointment is the lack of Disney Infinity Game.

I got really into the Disney Infinity game. Started out as just the Marvel side of things, but then I got a renewed love for Disney and Star Wars because of the figures and the game in general...

But then the big news hit, the game was cancelled... As if to rub salt in our wounds, Disney released all the material that was practically done but, still they decided to cancel.

Among them, was the Playset for Moana, with Maui... Man, after seeing the movie... I would have love the game... Especially after seeing some previews where it looked almost like Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker...

Anyone else disappointed we never got to play Moana in Disney Infinity?

I'm disappointed that the first video game that I've actually liked in a while (since the Katamari games came out at least) and could play with my husband or my daughter, will no longer be playable. We went big into collecting the figures JUST before they announced the closure *sigh*. Even worse, we play it on our Apple TV, which means we never even got the Finding Dory bits.

We're looking into getting the console game, since I understand that it will continue to work after March 4.

Oh, added insult to injury? We found out about DI just after our previous Disney Cruise, and had not kept the kid's club bracelet that unlocks the cruise ship contents. No problem, we thought, we'll get one the next time we go!
Our next disney cruise? March 7th.
I could just sob.

Totally agree...

The least they could have done, even if they didn't even work in game, was still release the figures... I would have loved to finish my collection with Moana, Maui, Dr. Strange, Spider-Gwen, Hera from Star Wars Rebels... Heck, even the Rogue One Characters, who I actually didn't want when the game was still 'uncancelled'. I thought that 'Jyn Erso' would have just been a female Han Solo clone, but that would have been better then nothing.

I dreamed of the day when I could play Captain Marvel or, if they went beyond the MCU characters, Ms. Marvel or Squirrel Girl, inthe Marvel toybox.
