Disney ought to buy the Transformers franchise
Has more potential in the long-term to have a pretty good ROI than star wars or marvel. just imagine both live-action movies and TV shows, spinoffs, and perhaps crossovers (Transformers-Pete's Dragon crossover; Transformers-Star Wars cross over; Transformers-Avengers crossover, etc.).
a live-action TV show could include a buddy cop story, an Cybertronian Autobot law enforcer (Prowl, Chase, etc.) partnering with a human detective solving/investigating/stopping crimes (ala Knight Rider), also most likely a least expensive way to create this concept as it would mostly involve a talking car, maybe robot alt mode showing up here and there.
a continuation of Rescuebots in the Disney Channel. Disney can always create Transformers, Transformers-related content that does not have to do with the Autobot-Decepticon conflict. And, for all intents and purposes, the civil war on Cybertron is over and Cybertron at this point is now unified once again and restored. We can see Transformers live-action movies that are set on Cybertron.
Content could be created with a Pretender family taking up human forms (the Transformers version of the twilight franchise).
A spin-off could involve a Decepticon who has earned the trust and friendship of a human child, but the Decepticon wanting to stay a Decepticon because he believes in its cause of saving Cybertron and he could not change who he is but the redemption arc involves the Decepticon protecting and saving the life of the child, which then eventually and ultimately leading him to become a reluctant hero, fulfilling a redemption arc.
