Suitable for a 2 and a half year old?

Want to take my daughter to see this but unsure it's suitable as in she will just be bored...She sat through Trolls at the movies and enjoyed it and loves watching Frozen, Tangled & Robin Hood at home. Unsure about this though.....thoughts? She's two and a half just incase you missed the title.

If she enjoyed Frozen, I don't think this would be any different.

I dont think so. The songs weren't half as good as Frozens and I just think a small child wouldn't stay engaged as much as I'd like at the cinema... However you never know.

I'd have to agree. I liked the songs quite a bit more than Frozen, except for MAYBE Vuelie's Reprise.

Well...all kids are different, but I would say as a general rule 6 and up for this one. The OP said she was afraid her 2 1/2 yr old might get "bored" so I take that as a cue that the child may get restless easily. Those are Sing and Minions kids for sure.

Unfortunately, after moana, many kids were asking when sing would come out rather than talk about the movie.

If she likes Frozen and Tangled and is able to sit through a movie, she should be fine.

My brother is 6 and he can't sit through a movie for his life.

So long as she can sit through movies usually and enjoyed Frozen/Tangled, shouldn't be an issue.

A success! So my 2 and a half year old loved it. Sat through the whole movie with just one bathroom break and enjoyed it immensely! Seems to have taken a massive shine towards Maui for some reason....calls him sweet.....haha oh well, would definitely recommend! As soon as we got home she wanted to watch endless YouTube videos of all the songs.

Do you know what, I really did! Will definitely be getting her the DVD as soon as possible. Loved it.

I am glad she liked it. I am not surprised that she liked since she liked the songs in Frozen. Though this is just an assumption world info gives me the opinion that kids that young are more stuck on all the songs :)

That actually makes a lot of sense. Too much dialogue would be a burden to those who aren't verbal enough at that point, so a story only without a lot of action or music to move it along would be tiring and hard to follow.
