LOL I still don't even understand how Sing got nominated in the first place! Practically every expert (I'm not an expert, but said such also) that Zootopia would win. This isn't a surprise! What would be a surprise is if it doesn't win the Oscar!

I'm kind of rooting for Kubo. Laika needs a win. Though Zootopia deserves it as well.

I'm rooting for Finding Dory to get a nomination. It was shocking that it got snubbed in the GG.

It's a sequel. It was good, but didn't really get the same buzz as TS3, so not surprised for me.

Dory got a BAFTA nomination (it won't win however) so it has a good chance now of getting a Oscar nomination. The BAFTA's are voting members on the Academy. Pay attention to the Guilds also! They are one of the best predictors of what film will get nominated and what will win.

Dory just got a PGA nomination (along with Secret Life Of Pets, Kubo, Moana and Zootopia.) So it looks like Dory will almost certainly get a Oscar nomination after all.

That's good to know. A bit surprised that SLOP got nominated. It’s an okay movie, but I thought Sing was better for example. It would make more sense if that was nominated instead.

Kubo will definitely get a nomination and I wouldn't be shocked if Zootopia also gets a nomination for Best Original Screenplay. Either way Zootopia basically clinched the award last night after the Globe, The AFI Award, and the Critics Choice no other animated film (only a few here) have not won the rest Guilds, BAFTA, Annie's, etc and onto then the Oscar.

I believe there are only a few Guilds that give awards including the Annies to animated films. If Zootopia sweeps these it's a given how the Academy Awards will roll as Guilds are some of the Academy's biggest voting blocks. It will also give a pretty good picture on who else will make the list too!!

I loved La La Land, but "How Far I'll Go" was a much better song than "City of Stars." I didn't even think "City of Stars" was the best song in La La Land itself.

I loved La La Land and its songs, but "How Far I'll Go" should have won. Hope Moana will have better luck at the Oscars!

Not at all surprised. Golden Globes picked some Bono song over Let it Go.

There is hope since the Academy did pick Let it Go.

At least Zootopia won best animated. I wouldn't have been upset if Moana had won instead, but Zootopia deserved it.

Meh, to each their own. The Golden Globes, no matter what anyone tries to suggest, is just opinion, just like everything else. Which is why I pay 0 attention to awards shows. I didn't even know the GGs were already done :P

I bet on "How" as well, thought it was a better song than anything in La La Land, although both had some catchy tunes. I doubt this will overcome Zootopia for best animated film though.

Trying to create a channel based on interpreting, reviewing, and even giving you something to laugh about film. Hope you enjoy what you see. Thanks in advance.
