The whole scene where Moana was singing "Know Who You Are" and Te Ka turned to Te Fiti was incredible!
By the way, am I the only one who thinks that Te Fiti looks like the Sprite from Fantasia 2000?

Agreed! Great song, and a scene where the visuals and animation were top notch! That scene and the whole scene with the Sea of Monsters and Tamatoa were just unbelievable animation.

My thought exactly! And Te Ka reminded me a lot of Hexxus from FernGully, towards the end of the story when he becomes REALLY scary (which ironically also fits the moralizing environmentalist theme of the movie!).

Te Fiti reminded me a lot of the volcano in Pixar's short, "Lava".

Agreed. I really like that scene too. I haven’t really thought about Te Fiti being similar to the sprite in Fantasia 2000 until you mentioned it. Someone else also mentioned a FernGully similarity with Te Ka. I got a bit more of the Lava Titan vibe from Hercules, for obvious reasons.

So what else is new?

So true. Only one of many great scenes. Also, look at the translation (http://disney.wikia.com/wiki/Know_Who_You_Are) of the lyrics in the background and watch the scene again, I promise you will cry
