Shiny was the best song

I'm not sure it's my personal favorite musically speaking, but I do love it and love how unique it is! I mean, it's a giant crab decked out in shiny things getting his Bowie on- what's not to love about that scenario? XDD

Also, after seeing the actual scene I found it really effective because the song itself is so fun, but meanwhile Tamatoa is completely kicking Maui's butt, and it's one of those cases where the fact that it's NOT a particularly menacing-sounding song makes it unsettling to see the scene going along with it.

Shiny was the only thing about this movie I *didn't* like. Definitely a scene for the kids in my opinion.

All of the music was fantastic from start to finish. Not a single song I hated or even disliked, but Shiny is definitely very unique and memorable.

Not me. It's one of the songs I liked the least. First I heard it in my language (french) and was appalled... then I went to YT to listen to it in english... and it's not that better. Anyway, I didn't like the whole bit with the giant evil crab.

Indeed. I'm listening to it right now, it's so addictive and catchy. I place it on the top, with "We Know The Way" at second, and "You're Welcome" at third.
