Do I have to watch The ACT OF KILLING first?

to enjoy this movie?

reply

Not really. It just follows the same story, but the movies are not connected.
But rather look The Act of Killing, it`s the better movie in my opinion

I did, but I don't think it's necessary. Honestly, I think it might be interesting seeing this one first then getting blown away by the sensational Act of Killing. Both films are definitely films that I intend to watch multiple times. I probably wouldn't have gone back to the Act of Killing again because it was so brutal. This film was more intimate and detached from the insanity of the perpetrators. Most of the perpetrators in the look of silence were old men, senile or already dead. The camera sees them through the next generation of survivors.

I did, and I think it's best. However it's not necessary.
