Great. But see Act Of Killing first.
This is a great movie. Calling it a 'supplement' to TAOK as some have is damning with faint praise.
But I would not recommend seeing this until you've seen AOK. They are bookends.
TAOK is a masterpiece. It's -the- best documentary I've seen in at least a decade. But it's -so- surreal.
What TLOS does is make it -personal-. The optometrist is one guy and his combination of kindness and courage is almost unbearable.
After seeing TLOS I found myself appreciating them both all the more. It =amplifies- the power of TAOK---which I didn't know was possible.
See them BOTH. But probably not on the same day. Give yourself time to let each soak in.
Why? I came into this game for the action, the excitement... Listen, kid, we're all in it together.
