Wasn't that great

I have no idea how this show after an poor pilot got 7.6 out of 10. Looking at the statistics and seeing how the 10/10 ratings seem to be so higher proportionately I think it's safe to assume MOST of the 245 people who gave it 10 stars are either connected to the show or christian types who get off on shows about god fighting the devil even if it is poorly done.
I expect during the season the current inbalance in the ratings will go down and will average out much lower when a wider pool of people have watched and rated the show.

The wings appearing on the "angels" in the mirror and monitor screen looked cheap and fake. I get angels have wings and we were going to see them eventually but they could of spent a little more time making them not so cheap and fake looking. The glowing eyes on The Man just glowed too much, again poor post production.

The scene in the bedroom when Vera pulls the gun on The Man was poorly acted and no offence to the actor portraying The Man but he failed to pull it off convincingly, a better actor could of made the scene much more intense like it should of been.

On the plus side, Shantel Vansanten looks great and is a good reason to keep on watching the show.
It is only the first episode so hopefully the cast and crew will gel better together and we will see better cohesion in cast.
It will be interesting to see the second episode to find out if there is a noticable difference in post production too as that probably let them down the most.

Lastly, I hope the theme can be a bit more interesting than how it seems to be going right now. A fight between good and evil where the evil ones are superior in strength and numbers and the good guys, against all odds, win through the strength of their righteous convictions. Or something like that.
Dominion wasn't too good of a show but at least they made the storyline more interesting and I hope this show can do the same.
If not, you could say it's nothing more than just religious propaganda.
