They Better end it with a BANG!!!

I have recently read that the Messengers show is being cancelled. I accept this fully, and wholeheartedly. The show isn't horrible, but when they advertised a show about angels fighting the devil, I expected a supernatural drama with more.....action. Instead the show is basically a christian drama that only had the angel term sprinkled on it, and I usually had shows on Syfy that had more of my interest. So yes, the producers can end the show at season one.

However, there is one thing that I request they do. When it comes to tv shows, the one thing they can do worse than canceling a show is giving it a cruddy ending. I mean, they know their series isn't going to make it to the next season, so it would be courteous to make sure the series ends with a sound ending, and all questions answered.

For Example: Last year:
- I didn't mind that much when they cancelled Star Crossed, I didn't even watch one episode from it since it sounded like "Twilight" with aliens, but I still didn't approve of them ending the season on a cliffhanger.
- I was outraged that they not only cancelled "The Tomorrow People", but ended it with a hook for a possible sequel.

All I am trying to sate is that when they reach the season/series finale, the producers had better end it with no loose ends, no questions in the air, and NO CLIFFHANGERS!!!!

If anyone agrees/disagrees, please reply.

I kind of expect a cliffhanger and don't necessarily mind it, I just hope there's some sense of closure, like the sense that one chapter or book is ending with more to come, rather than the feeling that there's a few pages missing before the ending of a chapter.

And I hope it ends with the Apocalypse beginning. :D

Well, I believe the show's producers have already said that the last episode will be a "satisfactory conclusion for fans." However, it's not like they were going to say "It ends terribly, stop watching now!"

That said, I think the show wrapped production before it even started airing, so there's not much they can do about it now.

The horsemen story line seems to be barreling toward at least some resolution. My guess is we'll get closure for this season's arcs, but there will be a hook for a now nonexistent next season. It's the best you can really hope for given the writers didn't know it would be cancelled.

The sad part is that the show was finally getting good.

Not only getting good, but really really good.

Not really in my opinion, the dialogue, essential part of any show, didn't improve unfortunately.

The storyline is too thin.

Good twist.. a little out of nowhere, but good. The show is finally hitting it's stride though.. too bad.

It can always be revived if ratings sky rocket but I doubt that will happen.

The show is getting good but it still sucks overall...
