They Better end it with a BANG!!!
I have recently read that the Messengers show is being cancelled. I accept this fully, and wholeheartedly. The show isn't horrible, but when they advertised a show about angels fighting the devil, I expected a supernatural drama with more.....action. Instead the show is basically a christian drama that only had the angel term sprinkled on it, and I usually had shows on Syfy that had more of my interest. So yes, the producers can end the show at season one.
However, there is one thing that I request they do. When it comes to tv shows, the one thing they can do worse than canceling a show is giving it a cruddy ending. I mean, they know their series isn't going to make it to the next season, so it would be courteous to make sure the series ends with a sound ending, and all questions answered.
For Example: Last year:
- I didn't mind that much when they cancelled Star Crossed, I didn't even watch one episode from it since it sounded like "Twilight" with aliens, but I still didn't approve of them ending the season on a cliffhanger.
- I was outraged that they not only cancelled "The Tomorrow People", but ended it with a hook for a possible sequel.
All I am trying to sate is that when they reach the season/series finale, the producers had better end it with no loose ends, no questions in the air, and NO CLIFFHANGERS!!!!
If anyone agrees/disagrees, please reply.
