More like Centre Stage the series.

Oh yeah, because Black Swan totally had ballet in it, and this show totally has ballet in it, so obviously they are exactly the same, how did I not see this, you are so smart.

I just saw the first episode and I enjoyed it. The artistic director reminded me a little too much of Malcolm Macdowell in The Company, but that seems to be the way all male directors are played.

The only thing that annoyed me was Claire's cell phone going off in class. I would think she'd have known enough to shut it off for class. It's not as if they're a new invention.

Especially since her brother has been trying to call her again and again. That was a little heavy-handed but the dance number right after made me forget that device.

Malcolm Macdowell was so good in THE COMPANY; right up there with Roy Scheider in ALL THAT JAZZ, in terms of a non-dancing male playing a dance professional authentically. Obviously, Roy S.'s role was far bigger and more dramatic, but for what Malcolm needed to do and convey, he was really good in THE COMPANY. That was definitely one of the few ballet-themed, fictional movies I could really enjoy and appreciate.

Just make a movie that makes me care, one way or another. I'm open.

Actually you do because if you think a show is Black Swan just because a dancer is the main protagonist, you missed a lot in Black Swan.

Agreed...Lots of resemblances to Black Swan...I think (hope), this girl is a fighter, though! She seems to be a bit voyeuristic. I guess she's suppose to be naive but she stares a little too long....rude.
