Any point in continuing?

I'm about 20 minutes into episode 6. The only story of any interest up until this point: Lead character comes into contact with trafficked Russian sex slave who hands over note for help that goes missing as does girl. Seems to have been dropped in favour of other compelling plots such as: Homeless man paints picture on roof. Girl who might have a brain tumor might have a brain tumor. Director of ballet company acts like a dick scene four hundred and twenty seven. Seriously I had to switch it off, he tells them to perform the ballet, he tells them to stop, he tells them to start again, he tells them to stop, this goes on and on and on, then he fires someone for no reason, then he tells them to start again, then he tells them to stop, at which point I did. There is absolutely no point in this scene, it doesn't develop the story in anyway, it doesn't develop the character in anyway, it's already been established over and over again, he's a *beep* we get it, he's unpleasant, his career is over, he's unhappy and jealous of their youth and talent and prospects, so he acts like a cock... every episode... for about 10 minutes, bringing the show to a complete stand still.
To anyone who's finished the series, does anything of any note happen in the last two episodes or as has been the case so far is it just more of the same?

Keep going!

Yes, I would suggest to keep watching. I also questioned if I should continue watching (by episode 4) because I was really annoyed and bored by two storylines - different from your reason - but I was captivated by other aspects of the series. You would have to finish it to draw your own conclusion if it was worth it. :)
