The Curse of the Mini Series (Spoilers)

Seems to be that unless it is based off a book or something with a true end, it can never be fulfilling. At least for me, this show left too many unanswered questions; and I know to some degree that's the point but when you know your show is only going to be 1 season come on! Its focus was too spread out in one sense and then too heavy in another. I personally wanted way more Daphne and Mia screen time and more devotion to their characterizations and story lines. I even wanted there to be more development with that guy Claire meets in the strip club. Speaking of, I don't really know what the point of that boat party was-it never went anywhere the rest of the season. It was, like a lot of things, introduced then forgotten about. The thing that really turned me off was the 6th episode- I HATED that she went home and then what transpired just made me not feel bad for her and I honestly wouldn't have been surprised if she didn't go back to NY and never danced again-THAT'S how wishy washy she was being. I didn't get the focus of Romeo either and the ending didn't make that any better. I watched the whole show in one day back to back episodes so maybe that's why I feel the way I do but I will say upon 2nd viewing I am noticing a difference in Claire and Bryan's relationship. Overall I was extremely excited for this show, the premiere was fantastic but the rest of the season didn't hold up, unfortunately.

I don;t think it was originally meant to only be one season!

I wish it still wasn't :(

Yea there were a lot of plot lines that didn't seem to go anywhere, as if they were setting up for the next season!

They had shot the entirety of the series thinking it was going to have a season 2. It was several months after they finished filming that Starz decided not to continue the show. They said it was because it was too expensive to shoot, but it actually had more to do with disagreements between Walley Beckett and Starz.

Well that blows...

That's true, it didn't and it feels like more needs to be told.
