He is one of the most despicable characters IMO ever on tv. There is something he does that just makes me hate him!

Paul is a truly terrible person. I think what he does at the party in a later episode is even worse

He's a jaded bag of poop, with no redeeming qualities.

And yet I found his character mesmerizing. Ben Daniels inhabited this character and brought him to life in all his btchy, insecure, petty, narcissistic glory. I loved every time he was on screen. I think he was my favorite character. It's no wonder all the dancers were so awful. He certainly didn't foster a warm fuzzy safe workplace.
