I watched all of the episodes today, (spoilers)

Back-to-back.

I gotta say that it was one of the most uncomfortable I've been while watching a tv show/movie. All of the storylines were off-putting, but the incest storyline was the worst, in terms of storylines/plots. I can't say I ENJOYED this, but I'm glad I stuck it out and am disappointed there won't be a 2nd season.

Spoiler for Blue Car:

The incest scene reminded me of how uncomfortable I was when the teacher molested the student in that movie.

Back to F&B, the acting was unbelievable. The writing was superb. I was starting to feel a little bad for Bryan in the last 2 or 3 episodes, but then I remembered how he raped Mia and knocked out that guy on the bus who would.not.shut.up. I prob would have knocked him out, too, tho. I'm glad they ended his story with Romeo killing him, and Bryan being the smarmy ass hole again. He won't be missed. I kept waiting for him to kill his father, tho. Anyone else think that?

I don't know...I had mixed feelings about the way things ended for Brian. It was difficult for me to view him in just one way - as the villain. On the one hand, I could see his humanity. He genuinely loved his sister...in a twisted way. And he took care of his abusive father when he really didn't have to. Also, he did make efforts to stay away from Claire until she sought him out again.

But then, like you said, the way he dealt with that guy on the bus (I thought Brian killed him) was messed up. I didn't feel sorry for Mia as I didn't care for her the entire show. Plus, when she was aroused by the fact that Brian had possibly killed while in the military...that just repulsed me. Anyway, I suppose kudos are in order to the writers. They made Brian's character multidimensional and hard to hate...well, at least for me.
