Where a Season 2 could go...

Of course, Starz has already stated that a Season 2 is unlikely, so this is just a list of speculation (and SPOILERS) based upon the aftermath of Season 1...

The consequences of Bryan's murder, which would probably be assumed to have been the result of a robbery. However, Romeo took Bryan's backpack.

The Russian strip club owner now essentially "owns" the ballet company. What could be the consequences of this?

Mia presses on, despite her MS, to try to get as many good remaining years out of her career before the disease forces her to retire.

Kiira becomes pregnant? Would she still be involved with the ballet company, perhaps serving as a mentor to Claire?

What becomes of Claire's father? Would Claire put him into a nursing care home, and how would she pay for this?

Would Claire go back to stripping (to help pay for her father's care, for example)?

What is the situation with Claire's mother? Is she still alive?

What will the ballet company do for its second season show?

No he doesnt. He made a financial contribution and he squeezed one lowly assistant for some legitimity with the ballet company, which is what he wanted all along.

that's not a storyline.

Why would she serve as a mentor to the dancer who replaced her and why would Claire needs her as a mentor?

What becomes of Claire's father? Would Claire put him into a nursing care home, and how would she pay for this?

In the list of "who cares?", this has to be on the top of everyone's list.

Would Claire go back to stripping (to help pay for her father's care, for example)?

She said she wouldn't get involved with it anymore and it was just a means to an end in the character development.

What will the ballet company do for its second season show?

Who thinks he knows best. What an idiot.

In my mind the story would go towards Zelenkov. How his connection to the company could endanger it and even the lives of those who would dare to go against him. Let's not forget Claire have not ended up as his greatest fan after what happened in the yatch.

a lot of unanswered questions, but also a few scenes that closed the door on a possible season 2.
- the brother said he was leaving, so there was closure there
- she seems to have left her dad behind so it's over (besides I am still wondering if her and her brother are not foster kids)
- I thought Kiira would kill herself or do something crazy. when leaving she basically said she had nothing left to live for. I think she definitely turned her back to the world of ballet
- the MS girl also I think is pretty much done.
- the russians could possibly "own" the ballet and cause a lot of drama, but that is not that kind of show.

of course we would like to know more about the backstory of the relationship between the brothers, but it's not enough to go for a second season.
Also if Claire went from a nobody to a prima where does she go from there? maybe turn into another Kiira. meh...

great show, perfectly calibrated, maybe they should have stretched the storyline
