I seriously can't believe this got cancelled

I just binge-watched this entire series and really enjoyed it. It had an original story, interesting characters, good acting (I especially liked the performance of Damon Herriman), excellent writing, a catchy score, beautiful dancing. It irritates me to know that it has already been cancelled. Useless twits like the Kardashians can be on the air for ten seasons and yet something entertaining that actually has substance barely gets a chance? WHY?!

Though I was not pleased with much of this show, I agree with your general observation about the shame of such crap as the Kardashians and other such dreck running forever, with more interesting programs being cut short. In this case, my understanding is that production was very expensive on FLESH & BONE, so a business decision was made, to leave it at one short series.

Just make a movie that makes me care, one way or another. I'm open.

Correct. The show was never "canceled" as such. Due to the expensive cost of production, it was decided very early on to make this a limited-run series, instead of one that stretched out past season one. A real shame...because these characters are dark and fascinating and if there was ever a show that deserved more episodes, this is it!

I'm at ep. 5 right now and it's impossible for me not to indulge this show all the way through the end, so much I fell for its brilliant mixture of tone, score, photography, cast and of course the dance. Therefore I am totally with you as I want to see this show to be continued. It's definitely not for the masses, but that's true for ballet as well. I would pay to watch it and so would do a not that small of a portion of its current audience in liking of it, I guess.

Noooo, I am in the middle of a binge watch and love this show!! The characters, the acting and dancing is all amazing. So sad it is only meant to be a short series. I'm fascinated with all of the characters.
