What happened to the Russian girl that gave Claire the letter?

That Russian sex slave girl that was working against her will for Sergi, she gives Claire a letter and says to call and tell her family, then is never seen again on the van and Sergi says creepily that "There are so many girls, who can keep track of them all?" thought she might have snuck into the trunk of Claire's car or jumped overboard but now it seems like shes dead, was never seen again on the show.

None of those girls were smiling or looking happy, none of them seemed to be there enjoying the show, human trafficking is not something i have experience with, but it seemed to be the case here.

I wanted to know too, I think they forgot about that part lol. I really wanted more of that story rather than the one with Kiira. I skipped it each time it was one because I didn't find it interesting at all.

They implied that she was killed. When Claire was in the car she went to find the piece of paper and it was no longer in her pointe shoe. Someone found it and got rid of the girl. In a conversation in a later episode she tells daphne she no longer wants anything to do with Sergei and mentions the girl floating in the river implying that she believes the girl was killed by him or his men.

I suppose that the Sergei storyline is one of those "interesting" storylines that we won't see develop. In some ways, that is a relief to me; the Russian mob is no joke.

It would have behooved everyone involved if Daphne had just swallowed her pride and begged her Daddy for the $200,000 to keep the company afloat - rather than have such a sinister figure be the savior of the company.

It seems that Daphne is one of those naive rich girls who think that going into rebellion mode and venturing into the fast lane of life is nothing more than a fun adventure - or a "growth experience"; she has a weak concept of just how dangerous the consequences of her choices can be. IIRC - she didn't even seem to get it when Claire expressed such concern over the fate of that teenaged sex worker.

I think that I would have watched a second season of this show with my breath held, with Sergei's blood money looming over the company.
