The finale was not that good...it was like thrown together

As is a Starz custom. never giving a series a shot or even letting it know whether there would be another season or not.

The finale seemed that while filimng there was a good chance for a second season, then decided to limit it to a one shot deal and then the finale had to be re done to wrap things up. If you can cal it that.

The last words was such nonsense. "tell me what youre feeling" "no!"

haha

the Romeo storyline, always the only annoying thing on the show, just really went off the rails.

half the show showing the ballet with an ambiguous ending. Seems everyone did well. Ok then, so whatever they do works

...and just left all these other storylines hanging.

the strip club owner. the dancer who works for him...a million things with the lead that were left unresolved. the guy who threatened to black mail him.

Just so much that feels it left unresolved. A great show through 7 episodes...then a hasty half hearted wrap up of the finale that seemed out of sync with the rest of the show....

another promising drama series from Starz cut down before it had a chance.

Agree that the last episode seemed thrown together as a way of creating a pat ending. This rich drama was transformed into something contrived with the Romeo subplot.

Interesting characters and storyline angles that we will never see (a partial list):
1. Ross and Claire's relationship.
2. The fate of the Russian girl who gave Claire the note, along with other aspects of the mob.
3. Daphne's future (arguably the most interesting/complex character)
4. Kiira's cocaine addiction
5. The future of the ballet company.
6. Sequelae of MS symptoms, and the way this changes the relationship Mia and her mother (and hats off to Emily Tyra on an engrossing and heartfelt depiction of her)
Etc, etc.

This was really one of the best shows in recent memory for couples, as both of us really liked it. Too bad Starz ended it on a strange 180 degree turn.
