Setting Change?

Why the change in the setting of the movie? Is this being done just because the lead actor has changed? Assumedly they are still going to film this in the Boston area, or are they actually moving production as well to the New Orleans area? Answers, anyone?

It's filming here but that doesn't mean the setting of the movie has changed. They made an entire section of downtown New Orleans look like San Francisco for Dawn of the Planet of the Apes ... even had San Fran opera signs up!

I was happy that it was filming in New Orleans, so I hope the story will actually BE set in New Orleans. NOLA is a romantic, sexy city. Boston, not so much.

The production reboot and move to New Orleans from an original Boston shoot has also led to a story tweak, with Reeves now playing a Southern lawyer instead of a Boston-based one

so it looks like it will be set in NOLA. Good. I'll be on the lookout for him!
