Written by Raphael Jackson?
IMDB says it was written by Nicholas Kazan. But the end credits say Jackson. WTH?
Have a hard time believing this was written by the same person who wrote Reversal of Fortune. The Whole Truth was bor-ing. Surprised it attracted the talent it did.
If Raphael is a pseudonym, can't blame Kazan for using it. This movie was way too slow, and didn't have enough dialogue. I didn't care about any of the characters. They could've done MUCH better than this.
But I still like Keanu and was nice to see Renee act again. And for me that was worth the time spent. But they deserved a better vehicle. And it would've been nice to see what else Keanu could've done if given more than 4 days notice to do this. And I liked Gugu a lot. She did just enough. But she deserved a more interesting script too. Jim Belushi was very good. But they let him outshine the other characters.
The twist in the end was good. But I just wish they set it up better and made the characters more interesting.
