Things wrong with season 7

12. Bosch just has to say her name to a few FBI people and they think he must be right ... they must torpedo a huge bust and let big criminal bosses escape justice over the justice of a smaller case.
13. Awkward trading of Jewish phrases by two people who don't sell it at all (Chandler and Frazen). What were they trying to do? It was weird. What was the point?
14. Hitman and his employers don't make any effort to acquire the original video. They kill for the thumb drives but not the original. smh.
15. Bosch up Jerry's ass over rules when we see Bosch bend rules for 6 seasons.
16. They ignore the leverage against Irving that they established the previous season.
17. They blame Jerry for outing Maddie as a witness but Maddie's face and name are on the thumb drive. It was never Jerry to blame. They see the video. Forced drama of CW level.

"The Little Anchor Girl"

1A. "DYKE SLUT" is the worst they could do? Can only recall her being in two long-term monogamous relationships over the whole show run.
13A. RE: everyone suddenly peppering their speech with Yiddish: Don't forget Det. Jimmy casually mangling macher and his partner saying "the whole schmear" while not even referring to bagel fixings.

19. The cartoonish eMe vatos who look like characters out of a Ricardo Tracy comic.
20. Maddie is in the potentially gravest peril of the whole show, from a "pro" even, and Bosch doesn't put a security detail on her until J. "outs" her.
21. Said pro's MO is two FMJ (non-expanding) 9mms "to the heart" all remaining in the chest and not only doesn't confirm his kills with a head shot, let alone even just a second glance in Honey's case.
22. Not to beat a dead horse, but they (really) asked for it: re: la niña poquita de los tamales, not only is the landlord's explanation that the emergency exit door's being locked is "the tenants' fault" somehow not easily torn apart, that "open and shut case" is referred to as being still "under investigation" to the unfriendly press by the chief several episodes later.

My guess is Amazon only let them do S07 if they slashed the budget, which caused them to lose the good writer(s) and all they could afford was some nebbish fresh from NYU.
