A weird moment for me.

In Michael Connelly's book, The Reversal, Bosch and his half-brother Mickey Haller (from his own series of books and the Lincoln Lawyer movie) team up on a case. In one scene, Bosch spends the evening with his daughter binge-watching the TV series Lost.

What was weird - at least to me - is that I started reading the books because of the TV show, so as I read them, Bosch has always been Titus Welliver to me. So as I read the scene, I pictured Titus Welliver as Bosch watching Titus Welliver as the Man in Black in Lost.

The book was published in 2010, which was long before Welliver was cast as Bosch, so it's just a coincidence.

I had the same thought, too

How ARE the books? Are they well-written?

They are professionally written and captivating, I've enjoyed reading them immensely. Apart from that... they are the usual junk food you always later regret reading instead of Steinbeck or Faulkner ))
