Biggest third-weekend plunge in MCU history.

It knew it took a horrible dive and I found never has MCU film collapsed like this.

You didn't even look them up! Justice Plauge won't even have a third weekend.

reply

I did look it up...worse than Dark World, Doctor Strange and Incredible Hulk.

What was that, Satan?

reply

Dann...it's worse than we thought...Disney stock taking a huge hit TODAY after Thor's precipitous drop this weekend.

reply

This historic drop still came with TR having the benefit of not losing a SINGLE SCREEN in North America.

The numbers continue to slide. Marvel fans have deserted this place and are seeking refuge on the JL boards.

reply

They still are hiding on the JL boards.

Was it really necessary to start two separate threads about this?

Not at all necessary but evidently OP is obsessed with the Box Office figures of Thor and Justice League. Since over a month ago, Queen has been trying to downplay Thor’s success (the MCU’s in general) while hilariously claiming that the now severely underperforming JL would/is not only do great, but better. And mind you, Thor has far exceeded expectations and its third week plunge is similar to that of the highest grossing superhero film of the year —Spiderman: Homecoming. JL opened in many more markets in its first week than Thor did and yet it couldn’t compete. Thor (a perfectly well-made, funny, and colorful to me) is continuing to hold out strong.

But no matter how many times the OP, who unbelievably claims to not be a fan of the DCEU, is hit with real stats and figures in regards to Thor’s success, OP remains defiant and miserably attempts to spin it.

thats because its a comedy

And an Epic story.

Dude why do you care so much? Give it up, you're obsessed. I never understand fanboy arguments. This is just like apple vs android or Playstation vs XBOX. You prefer DC and that's fine, but why are you so hell bent on reminding everyone that you're right and they are wrong? People like what they like. I just love movies that entertain me. I don't care what comic book series they came from. In a perfect world Iron man would kick it with batman from time to time. But on a serious note, Thor killed it and JL fell way short of expectations. For you to keep making arguments is just desperate and you are grasping at straws. I think it sucks anytime a franchise under performs because it hurts the fans' chances at getting more movies in the future. I'm still bummed that King Arthur didn't make more money.

It has no legs as well.
