Why does Thor get subdued when electrocuted on Sakaar? He's the god of thunder and channels lightning, so why should a little shock in his neck be an effective way to capture and subdue him?

The first was when he was initially captured, the second was when he was trying to escape his bonds while talking to Grandmaster, the third was a gag when Valkyrie zapped him while he was chatting her up, and the fourth was to end the fight with Hulk.
