Henry's Role

Does anyone every feel like Henry tries to act bigger than what he is?

Going against the grain here, but sometimes, yes.

There was a moment last season, after the dirty bomb where he wanted to be an NSA agent again, and he didn't get the job, and the only possible reason he could see for that was Elizabeth interfering. It was a terrible moment for his character (his actions/emotions justified I suppose by what had happened), and I've never liked him less.

This. So much.

But then again that whole NSA agent + ethics professor thing is really silly anway. It's just that Tim Daly wouldn't have much to do otherwise.

Haha, yeah, that's true. Henry's storyline would be pretty boring. It's the only way they get much action into the show, too, considering how last season ended. I'm not a big fan of it though. It feels unnecessary and forced at times.

Then again, I'm not a big Henry fan so my perspective's pretty skewed.
