I think the show would be more interesting if there was a girlfriend for Lizzy... the cast list doesn't give anything away in that regard and all the promo photos are of the three mains but would be a more interesting dynamic IMO. At least a recurring character if not in every episode.

These girls did a great job on the L Word. And so did the girls who aren't lesbian or bisexual IRL.
More concerned with being a good actress than whether she's a lesbian IRL, with being attractive second priority (she would be playing a character who is supposed to be dating Elisha Cuthbert).
