This premise is from Grey's Anatomy. Guy/Girl best friend have a baby; she's a lesbian, he's committed to another woman.

Not really. If you're talking about Dr Kelly Torres and Dr Mark Sloan on Greys Anatomy being best friends and then having a baby together, Dr Torres is not a lesbian she is bisexual and they conceived their child through sex and by accident. The two on this show are doing the dixie cup thing and and no sex and the woman is a lesbian, not bisexual like Dr Torres from Grey's Anatomy is.
