When Elisha Cuthbert's character says "Yep, big lesbo right here"

I had to change the channel. I know it was not even five minutes into the first episode, but the jokes were horribly unfunny, and the laugh track made it worse. It's like they played the laugh track after everything the two characters said in the pharmacy.

Although I may not have liked it, I'm hesitant to say it won't last. The use of the laugh track after horribly unfunny jokes just reminds me of CBS shows like Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother, and those shows are successful.

Totally agree. Switched off after a few minutes. Trying to watch it again now and nope it still sucks. Id give it another episode if it wasnt for the laugh track.

The first scene in the first episode -- the pharmacy -- contains some of the most transparent, least believable exposition I've ever seen on a sitcom.
Cuthbert's character walks in and practically says, "Hello, pharmacy worker I've never met. I'm a lesbian who's trying to get pregnant with my platonic male roommate." That's about how subtle it is.

Yes! Just about the laziest writing I've seen in quite some time. I can actually feel the actor's embarrassment as they are forced to spew out one unoriginal line after another.
