BvS
shareNot a chance , BVS was garbage, this was fantastic
shareHow so? Doomsday was an unstoppable villain compared to Civil War
sharePretty sure doomsday died at the end , not that unstoppable was he now, Civil War was the better film
shareI disagree. Batman and Superman are far better known and popular than Cap America and Iron Man. Not even close
shareYes. Batman and Superman are far better known that their movie lost money to Ant-Man which came out around that time followed with Civil War which got the better reviews and love from the majority of critics and fans.
And Doomsday was so unstoppable that he died 20 minutes later after appearing while Zemo fullfilled his plans of splitting the Avengers apart which resulted in Thanos crub stomping them all and destorying half the universe whose aftermath is still felt 5 to 6 years later in the world even after half the universe came back.
They maybe more popular but the marvel movies are better
shareCivil War by far.
It presented better themes and the main characters of Steve, Tony, Bucky, T'Challa and Zemo all had meaningful themes and arcs while developing the other characters and didn't hold your hand and expected you to understand all the character's motivations and actions from having seen the previous films.
BVS Ultimate Edition is good. Not great but its a large improvement but when compared to Civil War, Civil War just did everything better. The execution of what they were trying to do and tell was better handled wheres with BVS it was a rushed job that didn't feel earned.
You do your name proud
shareMartha!
shareBatman v Superman was a lot better, and I'm a Captain America fan.
Civil War was like a practice fight where two sides didn't want to hurt each other (they even allude to that). Of course, one guy gets seriously injured, which might happen in a backyard football game.
In BvS, Batman was flat out trying to murder Superman, and came prepared to do so. Batman taking out the bad guys who kidnapped Clark's mother is one of the greatest Batman movie scenes ever. Wonder Woman was great in BvS too. And then Superman vs. Doomsday to top it off. Snyder brought his A game to that one.
This.
"CA:CW" isn't my favorite Marvel film, there's far too much arguing about imaginary politics, but it's got some really great scenes. The fights are just awesome, the villain reveal was too, there was great banter between the heroes and a surprise at the ending, it's not a great film but it's fun to watch.
"BvsS" is just awful, there's no good scenes and nothing is fun. Just a very expensive bad movie.
I liked both but Batman v Superman was my favorite movie of 2016 and for me beats out any Marvel movie.
