Just finished Season 2. (spoilers)

In general I liked it. Mostly because I liked season 1 and
wanted more. However, where this season went to made me
decide I don't think so any more. The whole cannibal thing
with Dan Anderson and the way he acted so bizarre though the
entire season and no one did anything. And then they killed
off Hildur, who was a really great character. And the weird
native guy who kept getting naked. OK, I am glad I watched
it, and I am glad it is over now. That is the end of Fortitude for
me. I thought it was really cheating when they killed off Stanley
Tucci for no real purpose, just to be mean.

Also, so many movies these days are based around some horrible
corporation doing terrible things to people for money or weapons.
Enough of that. It's boring and just a cheap device, like in Alien,
you never know what the deal is. If they want the Alien, send a
team to get it that is not full of idiots, but I guess most movie writers
are such idiots they cannot write non-idiot characters ... at least
that is my best guess.

Disappointed in this season and in the series overall, but it was well
done too and the characters were memorable, as long as they lived.
