How accurate is this?
I also saw "Man on Wire" years before, but nothing beats a direct dramatisation. So how much of MoW was carried over to this?
Why are you here if you haven't seen the movie yet?

Bump.
shareIt's very accurate. I remember walking out of the theater thinking this may have been the only time I saw a movie based on a true story where they didn't fabricate anything. Give it a go.
shareIt carries the label of "A True Story" in the early credits and Robert Zemeckis said he wanted to tell a true story, though events are condensed.🐭
shareWatch the Documentary "Man on Wire" (also great) and compare. The part that stands out to me from the documentary was one of the cops commenting that he practically ran away from them ON the wire. And then sat down on the opposite side legs crossed smiling at them. Or something like that. It's been awhile.
shareApart from a couple minor detail changes here and there (nothing really significant), it's pretty accurate.
