Reminded me of Chocky....

The Children's book series Chocky was about an alien race who send the mind of their representative into the mind of a child. The parents think it's an imaginary friend. Interestingly Spielberg bought the rights to Chocky years ago and was also a producer on this show.

Yea, I always wondered if anyone was going to do something with that story. John Wyndman. Funny, I did not think any one else remembered some of the older story writers.
