Questions?

I liked 'Remember me' overall, it was well acted and beautifully shot but I wish they had made a few things a little clearer

- How did Tom live so long? He was 110 and looked about 30 years younger than that, Obviously he aged at a slower rate than everyone else and Isha had something to do with it, but why would she keep him alive so long?
- it's a bit of a coincidence that Tom Married a woman with knowledge (via a song) of how to get rid of a ghost, did he seek her out on purpose? Did he want Isha gone and then he changed his mind at the last minute?
- Why did Isha kill that Shirley woman ? What did that accomplish?

These were my questions too. I don't understand why Isha kept killing people anyway. There were so many frustrating unanswered questions at the end of this show. Tom seemed to like Isha being around, so why did he want to get out of his house in the first place?

Speculating. Presumably, his link to Isha gave Tom longevity, maybe even immortality. Yet, her presence kept him isolated, unable to relate to anybody or to actually enjoy life. He wanted to get some space, some distance from her, but he didn't want to hurt her either (why he killed his bride)

Tom went to her house wanting to learn the ending of her grandfather's song. He jut happened to fall in love with Dorothea (when he met her at the door).

In the "why did Isha kill" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3484180/board/view/237760969?d=237771748#2 37771748) thread, I posit that rather than protecting or being jealous, Isha was trying to get him to release her (either for his benefit, to redeem him from killing his bride; or for hers, to let her rest).

My question is:
if Tom wanted to scape from Isha at the very begining of the series (forcing his transfer to the nursing home) why he didn't simply sing the song? He should know it isn't easy to escape from a ghost!

I'm sure Tom said in the last episode that he loved her. So whilst despising everything that she did, (killing his wife amongst others) he could not bring himself to get rid of her

What I didn't get was this. Isha was desperate to leave and move on, Tom was desperate to die (that's how I took it when he said "she won't let me go!" And was so shady about his age) in the end they both left together. Why did it take them god knows how many years to do this? Why didn't Tom just top himself when he felt ready to go? Isha just wanted him, I don't think she'd stop him.
