Such a great Marvel villain and they went with that stupid twist (won't spoilt it)

The big reveal went over my head. I wasn't sure where I was supposed to remember this character from. Was it a scene in this movie? Or a previous MCU film? Or just a random backstory?

If they never use Taskmaster in any further movie or TV show, then yes they have ruined the character. But if this is merely just the intro, then it's still very salvageable.
